The virtuoso American singer/songwriter, guitarist and producer Ben Harper (*1969) has found a congenial creative partner in the blues and harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite (*1944). With elements of blues, folk, rock, soul, reggae and jazz, the three-time Grammy winner Harper has created his very own, absolutely authentic and drivingly powerful style of music over 13 studio albums, which is characterized by the highest emotionality and is appreciated worldwide - not for nothing Ten of his productions entered the top 100 on the Billboard charts. Throughout his career, Harper has collaborated with many colleagues. The collaboration with Musselwhite proved to be a great success. Her 2013 album Get Up! 1 on the US blues chart and also won the Grammy for Best Blues Album that same year.
