When legendary singer, songwriter and Journey frontman Steve Perry first heard his band's remix of the 1983 hit "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)," "I was amazed at how cool it was. I found out Bryce Miller and Troy MacCubbin had done the remix and told them how much I loved it. A week later I had an idea for an extended version, so I called Bryce and we put together our extended remix. Since I'm a big fan of the series, I was really happy to have my music on the soundtrack! I love both of these remix versions as much as the original Journey Frontiers recording." The new Steve Perry & Bryce Miller Extended Remix of "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" provides an epic ending for the album.

Interspersed with "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" remixes, Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Series, Season 4 will highlight the action-packed, supernatural world of the series through carefully chosen, well-placed music that underscores the emotional journey of the characters and their storylines. From the sound of KISS belting out "Detroit Rock City" during a pivotal Dungeons & Dragons game to the catharsis and psychic release provided by Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)," music plays an essential role in the narrative of Stranger Things.

Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Series, Season 4 presents music tracks reminiscent of various classic eras and styles featured in "Stranger Things 4." The soundtrack album was conceived and produced by the Duffer Brothers and Nora Felder (Grammy- and Emmy-nominated Nora Felder has served as music supervisor for "Stranger Things" since the series' inception and was nominated for a Music Supervision Grammy in the first year the category was recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences). The compilation album was produced by the Duffer Brothers and two-time Grammy nominee Timothy J. Smith.
