The Beatles - Past Masters (remastered)

The Beatles had a policy that singles from LPs should not be released after an album had been released - five of their albums contained no single at all.

Past Masters contains 33 tracks by the Beatles that did not appear on an album - from classic A-sides to hits sung in German. In 1988 two CDs entitled Past Masters Volume One and Volume Two were released. Although they originally contained a combination of mono and stereo versions, the remastered Past Masters compilation only includes the stereo mixes where they exist.

Many of the band's best-known and most critically acclaimed songs are represented, and the collection shows just how much work has been accomplished in just over seven years.
