Fela Kuti - Live With Ginger Baker

Now reissued on vinyl to celebrate the 50th anniversary: Two of the most popular Fela Kuti recordings.

'London Scene' and now 'Live!', a legendary record Kuti recorded with Ginger Baker from the band Cream.

The audio was remastered from the original tapes at Abbey Road Studios.

In addition to the already known drum solo by Tony Allen and Ginger Baker, side C also contains a second, previously unknown part from the performance of Afrika 70 at the Berlin Jazz Festival in 1978.

The performance was to be Africa 70's last. In the spring of 1979, several members left the band, including bandleader Allen. Allen had been employed by Fela since 1964.
