Glitter is bigger than Satan! The rascals from Berlin will release their first album on TCM after the super 7" "Madness" in summer! The Debut 7? made crazy good waves - the Deaf Forever celebrated the thing mightily and crowned the four as the new saviors of rock, an ".outstanding discovery of the last six months", according to Götz Kühnemund. Apparently it wasn't just the writing community that felt the same way, various high ranking scene festivals also got in touch and booked the Glittermaniacs for the muscle rock festival in Sweden and the local Desert & Freakvalley festivals! And with what? And rightly so: Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of experiencing the Twin Guitar powerhouse live knows about the irrepressible rock power that is blown off the stage from the first riff. A mighty missile lurks here! Actually, Travelin Jack don't do anything crazy new - it's about the most original kind of rock music - only that you actually have to write the "rock" in letters ten meters high - like a Hollywood sign - no exaggeration now. But other people do that too, so what's the fuss? The absolute V2 among the secret weapons to put even the last doubter in the sack is that TJ can not only rock, but also a lot of soul. The latter is due to the voice of singer Spaceface, which in places is clearly reminiscent of the Detroit Cobras. That's not to be misunderstood - Travelin Jack are not to be settled in the 60s soul musically, but hit their notch in the good old glam rock plank with a big axe. In addition to UFO, Suzi Quatro, The Sweet and the like, you can also hear "contemporary" bands from Sweden. All in all, a cool mix with an astonishingly high number of real hits!
