Curtis Harding says his music, which is soul music, speaks for itself. Listen to the Atlanta singer-guitarist's debut "Soul Power," and you'll see why. The rousing sound of his electrified Stratocaster, the foot-stomping backbeat and the passionate lyrics bring the old genre back to life. Harding's soul style between "Super Fly", fat 70s soul rock and a good portion of nonchalance developed in the US state of Michigan, traveling with his gospel-singing mother and in Atlanta, where he was a backup singer for Cee-Lo Green and became friends with the Black Lips (he plays in the garage soul band Night Sun with Cole Alexander). Shortly after the release of his debut album "Soul Power" in the USA, Harding was invited by Jack White to support him on the tour.
