About Me:

Why I am all doing this? Since I can think I ́ve got a big
passion for music. It all started with the first Album I ́ve
ever bought from my own money at the age of six. Motörheads
March Ör Die brought the whole wave in a movement.
Since this time, I was starting to collect CD ́s till about ten
years ago. I came in touch with Vinyl Records, and it changed
everything. To open a records Store was every time in my mind,
but more or less as a dream. Earlier with CD ́s but you know it
by yourself, only Vinyl is real!
Why am I so focused of the African Continent and the music? I
was ever fascinated about the Continent, especially West and
East Africa. One day I went to concert in Frankfurt, didn ́t
know who ́s playing and what to expect, just let myself
surprise. Guy One from Ghana with a wonderful Band all
arranged by Max Weissenfeld. No more Words to say, I ́ve to get
myself to West Africa and want to get some of the original
Records, pressed back in the days.
Went to Ghana, asking about 300 people, but unfortunately, I
was not lucky enough of coming home with even one Record in my
Suitcase. But I was not giving up, one or two Years later in
Uganda, I ́ve got a connection to some people. They told me to
have some records, original from Africa. OK, gave them a call
after I arrived, got directed to an Address close to a Market.
They picked the white guy up and we went together through a
busy market full of energy. “Wait here, we ́re picking up the
Records for you” they told me. Then they were coming back with
a metal box full of 45RPM Singles. Holding a Record in Hand,
that may lie in a corner for about 30 Years or more with
artists on it, even many of the local people doesn ́t even
know. This was the day I ́ve got more and more connections and
got into this scene of crazy African music lovers. Interacting
with locals and get my hands on records through crazy ways
making every single Record unique.
And it ́s fantastic that there are so many Labels outside which
are spreading this music to the World everybody must explore.
New or used, put your hands on some beautiful Music full of
passion and energy, this is what I want you to find in my
little store next to the music you already love.
Get the experience to hold up your first original African
Record in your own Hands!
Cheers
Dennis
